This project explores the question, If Heaven Is Under My Mother’s Feet, What Is Under Mine?

 

I record myself performing my labors of care, which is what I believe leads to the planting of heaven under my mother's feet, and seeing what sticks to my feet: cooking for my loved ones with onion peels underfoot, devoting myself to my artistic practice, attempting to wipe off in the grass before tending to my soul by praying.
